Baton I


Caswells Course Curriculum:
Introduction to Batons

This is a 3-hour class focuses on the basis of using an expandable baton for self-defense. It includes both classroom and hands-on practice time.

Focus areas within this course include:
• Understanding the legal use of both physical force and deadly force against another.
• Proper use of basic baton techniques in self-defense.
• Proper maintenance of your home.

Class Prerequisites:
• None

• Baton holster recommended, but not required

Build A 3 Day Bag


Caswells Course Curriculum:
Build a 3 Day Bag

This 4 hour course is designed to help you understand the basics of personal readiness and some of the essential items that you should consider should disasters strike. The Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) has instructed all citizens to prepare themselves for emergencies lasting three days. Are you prepared? If not, take this course. It will provide you life saving tips, ideas and give you the background skills to sustain you and your family in an emergency for your home, your car, and with your E.D.C. When the course is complete you get to take your new 3 Day Bag with you.

• Types of emergencies and preparing for them
• Understanding basic needs and supplies for food, water and essentials
• Understanding how to build an emergency survival kit
• Security and communication in a crisis
• How to prepare your home and family for 6 months or more

Family Firearm Safety


Caswells Course Curriculum:
Family Firearm Safety

This 2 hour course is for learning the basics of safe gun. This is a classroom-only course. Students are taught the five rules for safe gun handling and safe storage of firearms in the home, as well as what a child should do if they find a gun in someone else’s home. This class is designed for your family to attend together, and will discuss your family’s individual needs in regards to firearm safety in the home. It will also cover how to be prepared from the perspective of families with children in the home.

Focus areas within this course include:
• Safe storage techniques
• Educating family members
• Five (5) firearm safety rules

Course tuition is $50.00 (per family)

Youth Introduction To Firearms


Caswells Course Curriculum:
Youth Introduction To Firearms

This 2-hour course is designed for youths with no previous shooting experience. It will introduce your child to safe handling and basic shooting techniques with a .22 caliber rifle. Following the classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to practice the skills learned in class with live-fire exercises. Included in the course is the rental firearm, ammunition, target, eye and ear protection and a free t-shirt for the child. Minimum age to participate is 6 years old, and a parent must accompany each child during the class.
